If you take Pinside Pinball's word for it, Pinballz houses 48 of the 50 best pinball machines ever made. and 92 of the top 100. While some have their issues (maintaining them all seems like a Herculean task, or maybe Sisyphus is closer), there's so many to choose from. Sometimes it can feel a little too family friendy, but I'm still up there at least once a week.

I think it's a blast! Truth be told, the sound is the what makes this game so much fun. The roars, clashes, and crashes fit so well with the theme. Also, I'm currently in a chiptune music phase (Anamanaguchi, I Fight Dragons, etc.) so the whole midi music/sound pack is really appealing. Is Arena the best game in the world? No. Is it even one of the top 100 games? No (it's, like #290), but I'm still totally on board!

Sorcerer is a super fun machine. It's sort of one-dimension (lock balls, start multiball, light spinner, melt spinner), but it's REALLY hard to pull off. It's one of those games where you get obscenely close to pulling off a good game nearly every ball.

I played this for the first time a couple days ago. I thought it was fun, too. I didn't totally understand the big diff between playing as an autobot or a decepticon.

The shots are basically the exact same as Monster Bash. And I thought starting modes and multiball was too easy. Hit any shot four times to start a mode; and the lock for that one multiball was always lit!
