Bring Back the Arcade Project

I recently read about this on the PAPA Blog, and I just wanted to pass on the word!

A team of rad artists and pinball enthusiasts in Pittsburgh, PA have a Kickstarter campaign going to make a series of one-of-a-kind, pained pinball machines by artists like J Fish and Coop.  It's a cool project, and a cool video!  Consider contributing!

You can see the project HERE

  1. Great idea, but I just think all of those "low-brow" juxtapose style artists are just WAY overrated. If they's gotten Dave Cooper, Daniel Clowes or Chris Ware to do one, I'd be flipping out over this. And of couse, if they'd gotten the DTZ guys on board, I'd be ecstatic, but instead it inspires a giant... meh.

  2. I hope this gets going in a big way so that I'll have ANOTHER reason to go to Pittsburgh!

  3. With that said, it's PINBALL, so I'll definitely donate. I'm sure the stickers will be neat to have. And yeah, the gallery show will be a nice detour visit up to San Fran. But it would be great if they do another wave of it and open it up to a more diverse group of artists...
